If conditions are favorable Our Daily Pages will publish once a year or more.    News and information continue in a state of emergency.  Today we have another original religious parable for the news and information emergency.

The Parable of the Village who did not believe  in Heaven

Once upon a time there was a village who did not believe that Heaven made rain, despite the fact that it rained from the clouds every year. The people of the village did, however, believe in the news which lied to them every day.

And so when it rained they said nothing to each other except how refreshing the rain was and how handsome and smart the supreme leader appeared on the television and how much concern he had for everyone.

And so one day while it was raining, the president said that it was safe to go outside in the rain. And so the people went outside, they got all wet and many of them caught the flue. Soon the people began to complain because children got sick too.

Then the people of the village thought they would visit the Mayor to see what he had to say about everyone getting sick. They waited in the plaza for town’s Mayor and the town’s doctor to speak. The town’s newspaper man said, “I went out in the rain and I did not get sick.” The town’s doctor said the same thing.

And so when the Mayor finally talked to the people, he said that the president appeared again on television and told everyone that if they got sick, it was because their immune systems were weak and they needed a vaccination.

Later that night the president appeared on television again and repeated the exact words which the Mayor had told the people of [the] village. The president said vaccinations would be available in the morning.

The next day [the] people went for their vaccinations and of all those who did not get sick when they went out into the rain, some did get sick after they were vaccinated, some even died.

Then, the people of the village went to complain to the Mayor and to the town’s Doctor, but no one was there. They waited day and night, but they never showed up. Then, a new man from the military told everyone a pandemic had started and that president would tell them on the television and sure enough that night the President told them that a pandemic had started and that everyone had to wear masks.

And so the people wore masks and began to get sick very slowly. They went to the plaza and the military man was not there but another had taken his place and told them they had to keep wearing the masks. And so the people wore the masks and kept getting sicker and some died of heart attacks.

Then a group of concerned citizens tried to visit the capital of the country, but the roads were closed due to the pandemic. However there was no military to enforce the road block. And so the people decided to move the barriers so cars could get through. Finally they reached the capital city and everything looked so beautiful and magnificent that they forgot their problems.

They visited the museums and noticed all buildings were empty and no one was around in the capital city. When they visited the presidential palace there was no one there, no guards, no military, nothing but a television that someone placed outside. On the television it said “Live from the Presidential Palace,” but it was not “live.” On closer inspection one of the citizens noticed that the television was connected to a computer which controlled the whole country.

While people watched the television, it started to rain. The rain caught everyone off guard. The computer and the television got wet and broke down. The people were refreshed by the rain, but went home without answers. They still did not believe in Heaven, only the pandemic and whatever appeared on the television.

When they got home a new government worker was waiting for them and told them that the president and the military were very busy. And that was why no one was in the capital city. That night the President appeared on the television and confirmed what government worker said. Then a movie about [a] monster goat came on television. The people believed in the monster goat, but they still did not believe in Heaven.

The people of the village believed in monster goats, ghost stories, sports, spectacles, soap operas, the president and now in pandemics which had them concerned.

And so the next day the people went to find the government worker who spoke to them, but he had vanished and another had taken his place. And so this went on and on until everyone had disappeared. Now no one, except the television, was left. There was now no one left to lie and to deceive the people.

After all the liars had vanished, it rained. It rained for many days. During the the rain another movie about a monster goat came on the television. The people loved their television. Then afterwards a movie about a ghost came on the television . After the ghost, sports came on the television.  The people liked sports. After the sports show,  a spectacle came on the television and it was followed by soap operas. Late at night the president would appear on the television and would talk about the pandemic and vaccines. The people watched and listened, but they still [did] not believe in Heaven.

MMXII December 4, 2023: Our Daily Pages: UTC+14: Religion: Welcome to Our Daily Pages ODP.   We are a mass media emergency warning service and have reduced our activity and will post at least once a year.   If conditions are favorable will post as much as wisdom dictates.  If you are new to our service, political news in the media and general information are in a state of emergency. This means that television, radio, cable, and the Internet are not perfectly reliable.  Our associate and partners ABN Americas and Angelcraft Crown Media & News Co are providers of extraordinary emergency news.  More news and information is available  at the Daily Page in English or Spanish.

MMXII December 4, 2023: Our Daily Pages: UTC+14: Metro Mazatlan. We welcome you to visit Mazatlan! Consider also patronizing more the economies of your own cities. This is the best we can do to help ourselves when things become difficult. The small domestic economies that exist in each city are hard to beat. Small domestic economies that exist in each city are always reliable systems of income, and also good for trade and exchange. These are also called survival economies.

For people who live in big cities, we must have faith, but we can also help ourselves and each other by spreading the news that a news and information emergency is in effect, but to trust in God and that everything is going to be o.k.
